今日は、実家の父のお誕生日。 今年の春は、例年と違い、少しパタパタと過ごしている私たち家族。 当日に”おめでとう!!!”と駆けつけられないのは、全くもって残念賞。 今のpandocoro店舗は、父と主人の合作によるもの。 テナントを借りる際から。 空っぽだった空間の図面を書くことから。 必要な資材集めから工事・開店に至るまで。 父にお願いした全ての仕事は、 それまで単純にDIY好きだった父の集大成ともなるであろう大きな規模のものでした。 夏と秋と冬を越えて出来上がったpandocoroの工房＆店舗。 
その間。 娘である私の初めての出産まであったものだから、 里帰りの期間には、真冬の娘の夜鳴きにも一緒に対応してくれて。 
慣れない手つきで一生懸命に娘の杏をあやしてくれていた父。 今でも週末は、おじいちゃんのお迎えを杏は心待ちにしていて、 仲良く2人で出掛ける姿に時々こみ上げてくる想いがあります。 仕事が大好きで家族が大好きで人との繋がりをとても大切にしている父。 私が今まで出逢った誰よりもマメな父。 そして、驚くくらいに優しくて楽観的な父。 いつからかぽっこりお腹がトレードマークの西田敏行ソックリ!!!の父。 いつまでも、元気でいてほしいと思います。 お誕生日心からおめでとう!!!
